MT&F: Rams sign Oregon 4A High Jump State Champion Skyler LarsonPublished by
Head Coach Randy Dalzell announced the addition of Oregon 4A State Champion high jumper Skyler Larson from Sisters High School in Sister, Oregon. Larson won the 2019 Oregon 4A State Track and Field Championship in the high jump with a mark of 6' 2" and also placed 7th in the 110 high hurdles at the same meet. He has a personal best of 16.04 in the 110 hurdles and 6' 2" in the high jump. Larson attended school at Corban University in Salem, Oregon, in 2020 and planned to compete in track and field, but COVID-19 canceled their indoor and outdoor season. He completed the school year but did not compete in any meets. He will be a freshman sports communications major and compete in indoor and outdoor track and field starting this January at TXWES. Larson's father, Jeff Larson, now teaches and coaches in the Conroe, Texas, area and is a coaching colleague of Coach Dalzell in Oregon. Read the full article at: ramsports.net
