Head Coach Randy Dalzell announced the addition of junior college All-American hurdler Tajean Houston from Iowa Western Community College. Houston finished 2nd at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in 2021 in the 60m hurdles and 3rd at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in 2022. He has personal bests of 7.83 in the indoor 60m hurdles, 10.86 in the 100m, and 14.04 in the 110m hurdles in outdoor track and field. In high school, Houston was one of the top prep hurdlers in Jamaica at Kingston College, where he had a personal best o 13.78 in the 110m high school hurdles. Houston will be a junior business major and compete in indoor and outdoor track and field for the Rams.
